He was part of the staff production management team at MTV, VH1 and VICELAND/VICE TV and was the Head of Production at Story Syndicate. He is now the US Head of Production at Candle True Stories.

Joanna is a policy maker and advocate whose experience spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She served in leadership roles at Sidewalk Labs (Alphabet) and Percapita, a social impact startup. She has consulted for the upEND Movement and currently serves as the first Executive Director of United Family Advocates, a bipartisan group working to reimagine federal family policy. Her relationships, insight, and policy experience ground the film in both advocacy and real-world potential for impact.
